This species is one of the class of myriapods, popularly known as millipedes, although they are generally 34 and 400, there is another species that has 750 legs. Its body is cylindrical and long and can be wound in a circle, there are more than 11 thousand species. They feed on decaying leaves, fungi and a small minority are predators. They are harmless, although they are a plague for gardens.
