Hey Everyone!!
Few days ago, I have a new born plant of lemon grown by itself in my garden. I was so happy to see this and cared so well of it. Whenever i used to pass to this plant, i feel the sweet smell of it's leaves.
But when this plant grows a little bit, i found it's leaves were vanishing. I was thinking who is plucking it's leaves, then one day i found this guest on my lemon plant.
It was the caterpillar, not only one, there were two that i saw, eating my lemon plant leaves. And then i captured these pictures.
In the pictures you can clearly see how these caterpillars are eating all the leaves of my plant.
This above 👆 one caterpillar was in light green color, and from it's skin, it was looking like a young one from the other ones whose picture is below 👇, as it was in dark green color and the skin was also looking very tight and rigid.
I'm just guessing their age with their color and skin😂.
Now let me show you how it take hours to eat one leaves.
This is the moment when i first saw this insect which was the morning time. It was really hard to notice it because of it's color.
Then i was keep checking it's in interval of 2-3 hours, and keep capturing it's pictures.
This is the picture of next morning when it finally done with it's eating of one leaf and it turned back to go to the next one leaf😅.
I noticed about it that it eat a very little portion of the leaf at a moment then rest for sometime on the same leaf and then again eat. It start eating from the lower corners ensuring it's space to rest on 😂......
