Hello, my dear otaku friends! I hope you’re doing great today and having an excellent week filled with plenty of anime. Today, I’m sharing a super special post that has me really excited. As many of you likely know, the highly anticipated live-action movie based on the classic animated series The Jetsons is about to premiere. This announcement brought back so many childhood memories, so I decided to get to work on a lovely tribute to this futuristic universe. To celebrate this big release, I cosplayed as the sweet and charming daughter of the Jetson family: the unforgettable Judy Jetson! The best part of this project was the challenge of designing the look at home. To put the main costume together, I used a casual outfit I already had in my closet, adapting the pieces to look as close as possible to her iconic dress.\
Of course, a great cosplay needs its signature accessories. To achieve those futuristic geometric details, I used very simple, inexpensive school supplies. I designed the main pieces using colored cardstock and added texture with tissue paper. The final result exceeded my expectations and proves that you don't need a huge budget to transform into your favorite character. What do you think of the result? ¡Hola, mis queridos amigos otakus! Espero que se encuentren de lo mejor el día de hoy y que estén teniendo una excelente semana llena de mucho anime. Hoy les traigo una publicación súper especial que me tiene muy emocionada. Como ya muchos de ustedes deben saber, se está por estrenar la esperadísima película de personas reales, o live-action, de la clásica serie animada Los Supersónicos. Este anuncio me trajo muchísima nostalgia de mi infancia, y por este gran motivo, decidí ponerme manos a la obra para rendirle un bonito homenaje a este universo futurista.Para celebrar este gran lanzamiento, hice el cosplay de la dulce y encantadora hija de la familia Sónico: ¡la inolvidable Lucero! Lo mejor de este proyecto fue el reto de diseñarlo en casa. Para armar el traje principal, utilicé un outfit casual que ya tenía guardado en mi armario, adaptando las prendas para que se parecieran lo más posible a su icónico vestido.
Por supuesto, un buen cosplay necesita sus accesorios característicos. Para lograr esos detalles geométricos del futuro, utilicé materiales escolares muy sencillos y económicos. Diseñé las piezas principales con cartulina de colores y agregué texturas usando papel seda.
