Hello, Sketchbook community! I’m so excited to be here today to share my latest creation with you all—a piece that comes with a very special story. A few days ago, my sister surprised me with a wonderful gift: a full set of wax pencils. I honestly wasn't expecting it at all, and the moment I opened the box, I was absolutely amazed. I was fascinated by the variety and the huge range of colors included; the shades were so vibrant that I couldn't wait to start drawing right away. To break them in and see how they performed on paper, I decided to create a spontaneous drawing. I wanted to see how the colors blended, the texture the wax pencils created, and how smooth the strokes felt. As I progressed and applied different layers of color, I realized the material completely exceeded my expectations.
In the end, I loved the result so much that I didn't hesitate for a second to share it with all of you on this wonderful platform. It’s amazing how such a lovely gift can reignite one's inspiration. Hola, amigos de la comunidad de Sketchbook. Hoy me siento muy emocionada de estar por aquí para compartir con todos ustedes mi más reciente creación, la cual tiene una historia muy especial detrás. Hace unos días, mi hermana me dio una hermosa sorpresa y me regaló un estuche completo de lápices de cera. La verdad es que no me lo esperaba para nada, y en cuanto abrí la caja quedé completamente maravillada. Me fascinó ver tanta variedad y la enorme gama de colores que venían incluidos; los tonos eran tan vibrantes que me dieron ganas de ponerme a dibujar de inmediato. Para estrenarlos y probar qué tal funcionaban sobre el papel, decidí hacer un dibujo improvisado. Quería ver cómo se mezclaban los colores, la textura que dejaban los lápices de cera y qué tan suave era el trazo. A medida que iba avanzando y aplicando las diferentes capas de color, me di cuenta de que el material superó por completo mis expectativas.
Al final, me gustó tanto el resultado que obtuve que no dudé ni un segundo en querer compartirlo con todos ustedes en esta hermosa plataforma. Es increíble cómo un regalo tan lindo puede reactivar la inspiración.
