I walk the streets before the dawn,
The city's breath, a distant yawn.
The shops are closed, the lights are dim.

The air is cold, the pavement bare,
I pass the windows, unaware
Of all the things that come and go.

The day will rise, the doors will call,
But in this quiet, I am small-
Just shadows stretching, waiting, still.

I made this image black and white because it has such a timeless feel!
