The creator of life, Jehovah, ordered human beings: "Have authority over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth" (Genesis 1:28, The Latin American Bible, 2011). The Bible teaches us that the life of animals has great value for God.
The Bible teaches us that the life of animals has great value for God,In the story of creation we read: "God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and all moving animal of the ground according to its kind. And God came to see that it was good "(Genesis 1:25).
The Bible says that "God proceeded to create man in his image, male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27).
As this verse says, God made us to manifest qualities like his. That is why we spread wisdom, justice and love in a special way. In addition, we have a sense of good and evil, as well as a spiritual need, something that animals do not have because they were not made in the image of God. Animals are inferior to us, and God does not expect us to treat them like a human being.
As we have seen, Jehovah values animals and expects us to treat them with due consideration.
