🇺🇸 A big hello to the Qurator community. This photograph is my entry for the Qurator's Photo Quest "Summer" contest
Summer is one of the most anticipated seasons, it is synonymous with vacations, rest, recreation and in countries with the four seasons, many times it is finally enjoying the sun and its heat.
I live in the Caribbean, that implies having a more or less stable climate all year round with small variations. I took this photograph on Margarita Island, which is where I live at the moment. The beach is called El Yaque, a beautiful place recognized throughout the world as one of the best beaches for windsurfing and kitesurfing, this makes it very attractive for those who practice these sports.
It is visited by many tourists of multiple nationalities, especially Europeans, who love the first-rate hotels in the area and the picturesque town of Yaque. The sun is particularly strong on that side of the island, so it is also normal to see tourists lying on the sand to acquire a beautiful tan, reading, resting and many times even sleeping.

🇻🇪 Un gran hola para la comunidad de Qurator. Esta fotografía es mi entrada para el concurso "Summer" de Qurator's Photo Quest
El verano es una de las estaciones más esperadas, es sinónimo de vacaciones, descanso, esparcimiento y en los países con las cuatro estaciones, muchas veces es disfrutar por fin del sol y su calor.
Yo vivo en el Caribe, eso implica tener un clima más o menos estable todo el año con pequeñas variaciones. Esta fotografía la tomé en la Isla de Margarita, que es el lugar donde resido en este momento. La playa se llama el Yaque, un lugar hermoso reconocido en todo el mundo como una de las mejores playas para practicar windsurf y kitesurf, esto la hace muy atractiva para los que practican estos deportes.
La visitan muchos turistas de múltiples nacionalidades, sobre todo europeos, que les encanta los hoteles de primera de la zona y lo pintoresco del pueblo del Yaque. El sol es particularmente fuerte de ese lado de la isla, por lo que también es normal ver a los turistas tumbados en la arena para adquirir un hermoso bronceado, leyendo, descansando y muchas veces incluso durmiendo.
