Game Blood is related to the story of my childhood, it is one of those games that a child should not play in the 90s.
I had a complete set of Windows 98 (here it was almost modern) and 4 GB HDD. one day my brother brought a mysterious album signed Blood (my English was very poor then).
I didn't know what kind of game he didn't turn on and that was great.
As for those times, the graphics were ultra realistic for me (I will say that I did not play mega new productions on the computer) And the plot hmm, does anyone even remember the plot how the action mattered;)
I will discuss the game as I remember, so I invite you to read it. In the game we control Caleb, the guy who wakes up in a coffin and has a fork like a pitchfork (I remember today when the first zombie monsters attacked us leaving the coffin with pitchforks).
My horror of this game grew with every second.
Caleb is tasked with eliminating all mutants and the whole sect, monsters and other mascarons in the world.
The game was full of interesting weapons and we not only had a pitchfork, but also a revolver or various rocket launchers.
When it comes to the pace of action, it is very high here, monsters or cultivation sometimes appear in ghosts in groups, which makes it difficult to complete the mission.
The game is based on the Duke Nukken engine because Blood comes from 3DRealms studio, so there are a lot of references here, although worded differently.
Our Caleb will not only fight in the city, but also in the cemetery or ship or in other strange locations (which are available immediately in the selection menu).
Missions are terribly difficult, even if we choose the lowest difficulty level, mutants, monsters and cultists can kill us in seconds.
After more than 20 years, I tried to play this game some time ago and unfortunately it is too hard for me. When the difficulty level was from Hard to impossible, the levels are now very easy to medium possible.
Blood is a first person shooter game released in 1997 by the Build engine
Nevertheless, this is a game from my childhood, I never played Duke Nukkem 3D but Blood does, and I think it is wrongly labeled a weak clone of Duke.
The second part was also created, but I never managed to play it. I recommend it as a retro game, it is one of the most interesting games to be played
