GROUNDING SPECIFICATIONS ON TOWER

  1. Grounding Point.
Using a massive copper rod with a diameter of 0.5 inch that is plugged to a maximum depth of 12 meters, at which point the drilling point is given 1 kg of conductive cement.
The grounding point on the legs of the tower is required to achieve conductivity with a maximum of 1 W after integration (plugging) to an existing ground point.
  2. Ring Grounding.
Ring grounding using a copper plate with a thickness of 5 mm and a width of 20mm. The grounding ring connects each ground point and is planted as deep as 50 cm from the ground.
  3. Connect point.
The point of the grounding cable wire from the grounding point, tower, pole, or shelter is entirely using copper base material (bolt, clamp, cable terminal etc.), which must eventually be ended with a copper welding method or by using CADWeld at that point. The whole point of connection is done in the control tub (inspection pit). Inspection pit is located on the ground (flat ground level).
  4. Grounding Cable.
The grounding cable used for the second ring location connected to the main grounding ring using a 1 x 70 mm2 AAC cable type. The other end of the cable is connected to the grounding terminal (grounding bar) located in the room (shelter, tower, below the feeder / feeder entry hole).
  5. Grounding Bar.
    Grounding bar using aluminum-based plate with size 400 (P) x 100 (L) x 10 (T) mm, which provided a minimum of 10 hole hole.
  6. Tub Control Point Control.
Inner sized control tub: 500 (P) x 500 (L) x 400 (T), and using a cap of 2 mm thick steel plate that is digalvanized.
  7. Cable Ladder
The ladder cable used is of type U with dimensions: width 200 mm. Supporting materials include: wall mounted bracket support H = 100 mm, vertical support H = 3000m, bolt, nut, washer, plate, earthing set and others. To avoid from rust the entire material must be galvanized with minimum thickness of 60 microns.
