Prayer for Peace
Ho, now listen!
As we give thanks to the white light of day,
I pray to the Sacred Eternal Fire,
Whose flame gives life to the seven sacred woods,
Cut from trees by flowing streams,
Flowing as the wheels of time,
Reminders of the first law of peace,
Our oneness with the universe,
Give us the hearts to understand,
To walk where the grass is green and the birds sing,
On the soft Earth with peace filled hearts
For only when there is peace in our hearts,
Will there be peace in our world.
