You want my honest opinion!?

Well! I am not going as the prices are too expensive! I have been to many conferences before, I am used to the standard expenses and rates; so these are too high for Thai standard!
Even, the hotel rooms could be cheaper.

It would be helpful if they have a day-time tickets fur people who could not stay for dinner and the rounds of beer!
Many conferences I had been to actually had a one-day ticket without dinner or social function; some people had to pick up their children from schools while some people are vegetarians and don’t drink alcohol!

The program is not catered for small fish! It seems to be for the networking of the big fish!

Also, they don’t really care about local Thai steemians! It’s like a full moon party for the Westerners, where they all come for their parties and good time.

There is also a cultural divide! Cross cultural management is non-existent, it’s very Western-oriented which is quite normal! The expat-Steemians are also overlooked! They never asked for these expats,who are big fish, for any feedback or opinions! So, it’s a very exclusive party by my standard.

But I am glad they are having their parties here; it’s good for local people. It’s their money, so they can spend it how they want to! But there is no sense of ‘community’ from the very beginning! But that’s life and reality to be accepted as it is! No hard feeling! It’s a business!
