We need to stop doing what they want. Politicians are just puppets controlled by the same puppet master. These puppets are charismatic, and good at using rhetoric to make their supporters feel like they're looking out for their concerns, when all that's happening is division and hate for the other side is being created. All we do is get passionate and fired up about proving our points, and stomping everyone elses opposing ideas.
But, regardless, they'll just end up putting into power the one who best serves their purpose at the time. They'll make the voters think they had a hand in the selection, and make one side feel like they're getting what they want, further pushing the division in this country. Then they can just come back and pretend to offer unifying solutions to these dividing issues they have just created.
While using things like gun control and racism, and terrorism, to play on the fears and emotions of the people so we'll continue putting our trust in them, while all they're really doing is pulling the wool over the eyes of the sheep that put their hope and faith in the government. We are thinking thinking they'll be the saviors of the world, when actually the opposite holds true.
But we're so blissfully ignorant of this because we have so many convenient distractions to avert our attention and keep us seeing the surface of it all, not looking deeper, because that takes extra time. We only see and hear what they want to give out, because that's so much easier, and it's what they're counting on us doing. This paradigm is so deeply set in place that shifting it will be a long and difficult task.
