It's time to improve your mathematical skill. Many students or people find it difficult to multiply. They need calculator for simpler multiplication. In today's post I would like to disclose you how one can calculate simpler multiplication without any calculator.
First of all remember this rules apply only on the multiplication of 11.
Let suppose if you 11 x 11 the answer is 121. You can answer it quickly if you well remember the table of 11. Believe me it is as sample as adding two number. How? Let me explain what you need to do
11 x 11 =
Write the second digit of 1st number as it is. The second digit of 1st number is 1. Now add 1st digits number i.e 1+1 = 2. Now write the number prior to previous number i.e
21
Now write the first number as it is i.e 1. prior to addition of number. Here you have the answer
11 x 11 = _ _ 1
1+1 = _ 2 1
1 = 1 2 1
Oh may be try this with an other number like 43 x 11. Repeat the above mentioned steps
43 x 11 = - - 3
4 + 3 = _ 7 3
4 = 4 7 3
You can used it for any bigger number. One point you have to consider if the addition of two number have more value than 9 than it will be carry over to final number. Like
97 x 11 = - - 7
9 +7 = - 16 7
Here 16 is greater than 9 so you have to carry over and place the six here. one will be added in bigger number
9 +7 = - 6 7
First digit is 9. with the addition of 1 it will be 9 + 1 = 10. So the final answer will be
97 x 11 = 1067.
