Just like wall can't build without blocks. Blockchains can't build without blocks. Blocks are the small the part of blockchain. Here in cyber world Block is like a big ledger which stores all transaction details like the amount, time, date and parties involved in the transaction. Transaction details stores in the block in the form of cryptographic code called hash. Hash has a unique identity to avoid any ambiguity. Each block contains multiple transactions. Blocks can be added in chain after got verification by witnesses. This makes transaction process transparent.
