If there is a surplus of certain commodity, there is another commodity in deficit. The market equilibrium of any commodities poses definite quantitative requirement for every one of them. In order exchange to be in accordance with the requirements of the intrinsic values, certain quantity of a good corresponds to a specific quantity of another good, for any disagreement between them creates a deficit in the good lagging behind. Commodity in deficit is the missing balance to the surplus of its counterpart, and so is required some provisional market equilibrium.
