Large coniferous pines are not native to our country. Once they were planted in our mountains, especially Bakony and around Veszprém. Although they are very nice, they are not feeling well due to warming. Last Saturday we visited an old pine forest which had a special atmosphere. Because it is evergreen and its foliage remains in winter, the forest is much darker. Some relatively old trees (up to 50-60 years old) stand out from the rest. Fortunately, the area is now protected, there is no silviculture here, and a large number of animals live there. We saw some deer running down the path 100 meters from us, unfortunately we had too little time to photograph them.
