While working at an ATM booth of Dutch-Bangla Bank, I noticed that the machine was having a problem with its network connection. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the LAN port of the motherboard was suddenly dropping the internet connection. Such a fault in a 24/7 service like an ATM machine causes major disruption. But after installing the new motherboard, I ran into a new problem. After testing, I realized that there was a problem with the processor of the new board I had, due to which the motherboard was not booting or running. Such problems make the job even more difficult in sensitive hardware like an ATM machine. Time is short, but it is important to get the machine up and running quickly. In this situation, I made an immediate and intelligent decision. I carefully removed the defective processor from the new motherboard. Then I carefully removed the good processor from the old motherboard with the damaged LAN port.
