Hello everyone.
An update on the fish tank situation is I still have not received the stand yet because it is still being worked on. On the bright side, every day is one day closer to actually getting the tank up and running. I can finally move my fish into a bigger tank and start utilizing my desk again for more creative content on steemit as well as studying.
I wanted to leave everyone with the quote found above in the picture. I was once told by someone that they would try anything twice. I think sometimes before giving up, we should reevaluate the situation. Determination and persistence are important factors. Sometimes we forget about actually achieving our goals because they might seem so distant. It can be illustrated like this: suppose you're running a race and after a long time of running you encounter a giant hill. You decide to stop running and give up since you have been running for so long and have no sight of the finish line. You decide to walk out of the race even though you were ahead of every other racer. You later come to realize that the finish line was actually right after that giant hill you saw from below. If you only had kept running up that hill you would have won the race!
Sometimes our challenges can be just like that hill. It looks so overwhelming to conquer that you see not hope and give up. Endurance is important. Determination is also important. We all have our own challenges and hills to overcome. Just try one more time Thomas Edison says.
