Yeah, it is absolutely a wonderful imagery. A bubble is like a memory.
It is rainy today. When I walk in the wet street lonely, holding an umbrella in my hand, do you know what occurs to me?It is your sentence---the slow walking style needed to stop yourself from slipping. Then I smile to myself. God knows how your blog is like a sweet and romantic love movie scene flashing into my mind.
It seems that Warsar city is so close to me...
Below are 3 interesting new terms I've learned from this great blog:
1)their meat and 2 veg
In the beginning I was rather puzzled about it. What?2 veg? After checking the information online, I know that it stands for a basic and traditional English food, including a portion of meat and two different types of vegetables.
What a coincidence! In China there would be the different names of set meal, such as 1 meat and 2 veg, 2 meat and 2 veg, or 2 meat and 3 veg, etc. and along with a small bowl of rice.
2)triumvirate
It seems that it originated from Ancient Roman, a political regime dominated by three powerful individuals. Data shows that the term triumvirate is most commonly used by historians to refer to the First Triumvirate of Julius Caesar, Marcus Licinius Crassus, and Pompey the Great, and the Second Triumvirate (the Tresviri reipublicae constituendae) of Octavianus (later Caesar Augustus), Mark Antony, and Marcus Aemilius Lepidus.
3)the gold at the end of rainbow
It is unexpectedly related to the Irish folktale, so interesting!
A Leprechaun is a trouble making creature in old Irish stories. He looks like a very small man. And he knows where to find gold.
Some experts say that, in Irish folklore, it is believed that Leprechauns can reveal the hiding places of treasures.
Keep in mind that there is no real "end" to a rainbow. And that brings us to our idiom: the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
The "pot of gold at the end of the rainbow" is something you really want to have or you really want to achieve. Finding your pot of gold at the end of a rainbow – or just "pot of gold" for short – feels like the realization of your hopes and dreams.
