Wednesday Walk.png
Today I did a quick walk down the street to buy some dinner. Yes it was a lazy kinda hump day because I spent almost two days trying to figure out why my laptop did not want to friend the Wi-Fi. They seemed to be at odds with each other. After hours of trouble-shooting, long story short the end result is I can't log into Peakd from Brave and am now using Safari. I don't know why, I can't remember doing anything different. It initially kept crashing and after we closed all tabs, deleted, and did some housekeeping, I am using the Safari browser.

These kiosks popped up, along with make-shift tables with canopies towards the end of last year. The authorities allowed people to set up shop anywhere as long at they were not obstructing traffic and they had to get a permit to do so. This was to help those who had lost jobs and who were finding it hard to make ends meet. But to be honest, these guys aren't always open, in fact they are closed more often than not.

Once upon a time, I am sure there were many young lovers whispering sweet nothings in this booth. These phone booths are still around but most of them have missing phones just like this. Now it is just a place to park your used water bottle when you are too lazy to find a dustbin.

While waiting for dinner to be prepared for takeaway, I went to the sundry shop to buy bread. That yellow bit is turmeric. My guess is, it is to bring good luck/customers to the the shop.

Once upon a time, I wanted to own a sundry shop so I could do this. Grate coconut with this machine. Have you seen one of these? That knob has sharp mini blades and it spins to grate all the coconut flesh out. Just hold a coconut against it. I think one of these days I am going to ask them if they'd allow me to try it, so I wouldn't have to buy a sundry shop just for this haha.

That chair on the road is a message to not park in that spot. And most of us actually won't, even though it is easy enough to move the chair, even though that road does not belong to the chair owner, even though it is illegal to park on the side of the road like that to begin with. We'd just park before or after it馃槆

And that brings me to the end of my short walk. This is my entry to @tattoodjay's #WednesdayWalk and @elizacheng's #MakeMeSmile.
If you would like to take part in either and better still both, just swing on over to either one of their posts to find out how.
