Yes, definitely give it a go! It's crazy how different -this- pastry is to the failed attempt I made so many years ago. 🤣 I was seriously horrified at that result and just never even attempted pastry-making ever again. Until now. And I'm very glad I tried again!

I am jealous of your cold weather! I guess this is why technically pies are considered a cooler season dish -- it would be a lot easier to make the pastry in such a climate. 😅
