I'm not too sure how I'd feel about a Mass Effect TV series... I kind of feel if they did any other story that wasn't Shepard's it would be good. Like, maybe the First Contact War, or even Anderson's initiation and failure to be a Spectre with Saren! But if it's just a copy of the trilogy's story... I'm not sure how well it would go.
