Yeah that graphics "update" isn't so much an update as something anyone can do with a nifty tool called SweetFX.

It's also not so much a "cash grab." THQ bought the title from EA, they did stuff to the game and created new content for it that's to be released next year, and they should get paid for their efforts. Based on their success here there might be a couple more games using the lore of this one, which is what fans of the game are hoping for and why people are willing to part with extra moneys.
