Inquisition is one that many choose to play first 😊 being the most recent of them with more modern gameplay.

If interested in the story though, I really recommend playing the others first so you can shape your world... overall you choose who is the ruler, some certain events, who happens to be alive or dead, and it all culminates in Inquisition and you can see just how you've created your own personal Thedas.

It also helps a lot knowing the lore. Going into Inquisition first, you just don't know a lot of the things that have happened and why this is even happening and what's going on. Like, I'm playing through Origins at the moment and there's so much stuff in it that I'm picking up, nodding to myself, like "Yesssssss! it all makes sense!!!! I see where they've fit that in. Oh there's definitely a callback here." etc.
