I haven't really been playing as much lately, for a couple of reasons:

  • The economy is terrible and was my #1 reason for wanting to play this game.
  • Australian servers had an issue where sometimes someone would select a server, make a character, then get sent to some random-arse server. That happened to one of my group. So we weren't able to play together, do expeditions together, etc. Thankfully server transfers just came out and she has now joined us. Our group of four is all together!
  • Also, I felt the urge to wait for a few more bug fixes and things. The respawn rate in particular makes me cranky.

But then my partner was like, "Just play the game you've been wanting to play for a whole damned year. Level up. Gather all the things and turn them into high tier mats for later on. The economy will be fixed eventually."

Not likely, by the way. Unless they add NPC vendors to set a solid bottom price for items. Or allow us the opportunity to make more gold via town board quests and whatnot.

Anyway, I was just, "Siiiiiiiiiiiigh. Fine." and decided to go on a gathering spree.

Because it was prime time in Australia, there were fifty thousand people on my normal mining route. But I found a secret place. Just North-East of Everfall is a wolf den. Amongst this wolf den are piles of silver, piles of iron, a couple of gold nodes, and wolves as far as the eye can see!

AKA: plenty of silver ore, iron ore, gemstones, and rawhide with a smattering of gold ore. All in one teeny location that no one else seemed to notice.

So I literally just farmed there for two hours. Alone. During prime time! And now I have 1000 of each iron, steel and silver ingots. Many more gemstones than I thought I would get. And my storage of 1850lbs is full. Need a couple more storage chests. Need to find the schematics for the larger storage chests.

This mystical location? Right here:

And the best thing is it's a mere 400m from the city so you don't even need to waste your recall. Just a short walk away! There's also plenty of young, mature, and weird-wood trees. (Yes, I know I spelt that wrong.)

There's no hemp or anything there. But it's a great place for getting all that rawhide and silver and iron without being accosted by other people.

I'm currently level 46 and have been focusing on my Life Staff abilities. I've been trying out various side-weapons but none of them really do it for me. At the moment it's just far easier to kill things with my life staff than it is to switch to another weapon.

We did the Shattered Obelisk dungeon the other night, I was healer for it. And damn. Platforming and purple laser beams of doom. It was easy enough to heal, but, purple laser beams! And I'm not really confident when it comes to platforming in 3D games.

Next on our list is the Depths. Well. I don't actually know what the dungeon/expedition is called. But the quest is called Into the Depths. And this time we have our little group! Hooray!

I suppose I should probably start doing some more actual questing. Rummaging through chests and things. Hoping to find more schematics. I can't be a Future Grand-Master Craftswoman if I don't have the advantage of schematics that no one else has. 🙃

Until next time! 😊
