Today I selected a few photographs of two important but opposite parts of nature. Live and less alive. Static and active. Warm and cool. Soft and hard. Old and young. Banff version.
Here they are - Rocks and Chipmunks from Alberta
Of course, the first photo consists of both and you can pretty much get the idea of how the rest of photos will look like.
I like the orange color that lichen implements on the rocks. It makes them look more interesting and brings out a nice contrast to all the shades of green that you can see all around in the Banff National Park.
One from far..
..one closer..
..and closer..
..running away..
..and it's gone for good..I only have one more rock photo for you today
I understand if you feel a little disappointed with my photograph selection today because I did not share any green nature.
However, my last two posts have been just that so you are very welcome to check them out.
Furthermore, I believe the beauty of nature stretches way beyond the greens and flowers and I want to share this idea with others at any given chance.
There is more I am preparing for the next days and I hope you decide to stick around :)
