Also you should start posting to specific communities.
I think you are not sure about the use of community tags.

Example: For gems community, the first tag you should give in your post is hive-148441 and not gems
The community is /created/hive-148441

After community tag you can add normal tags like #art, #drawing, etc. related to the blog. Ensure you post good, non-plagiarized content to the community and the content is related to that particular community. Good day! :)
