Whether birds are meant to be in cages or not is a topic that can have varied opinions and is definitely an ongoing discussion, but I found this lovely little birdie shown in the picture below and I knew it would make an interesting picture. As the cute fella stares into the camera, it can be seen sitting comfortably inside its peculiar home which is nothing but a modified earthen pot. I absolutely love the color of its plumage that adds a unique dimension to the entire scene.
Birds happen to be one creature of nature that I'm slightly jealous of, as they have the natural ability of flight and can soar through the skies with the power of their mighty wings.
We should always aim to fly high - with or without wings!
