While that is true, the issue is that this reward pool compete with other Blockchain expenses like the DHF. Because the Blockchain has to mint brand new tokens, AKA, money printing. The more it prints, the less is worth. Many dApps don't get paid by the Blockchain, but others do. These payments have become too huge for the community to maintain. So we need to decrease these expense by 95% to make the system work.
