Incredible album that INS just came out this weekend. The album Dragon Breaths, has a bunch of tracks over different vibes. The way of the lyrical samurai go through 19 tracks with ease. With a few videos from what it can be considered his fifth solo album, not counting his work with Czarface and mixtape. The album is packed with fellow Wu members appearances such as Raekwon, Method Man, Cappadona and other artists like King Yohannes, Cashmere Brown and production from PA Dre.
Mayor publications like Rolling Stone or Pitchfork didn't publish much about the release, however underground blogs specialized on hiphop label the album as a "full-circle moment" for Inspectah Deck. Inspectah lyrics on this album connect his Wu-Tang comic moniquer with his comic book inspired persona with Czarface. The album is a masterclass in technical lyricism, despite some not so good features. The Word Is Bond: Hailed the project as a "fiery return for the legendary wordsmith," highlighting that PA Dre's rugged boom-bap production perfectly accommodates Deck’s senior MC presence without chasing modern radio trends.
What's amazing is that he is also about to release a new Czarface project on the Sept 28 with Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer. This album opens and might revive the INS career as he has served many interviews across the web with many specialized hiphop podcasts such as The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, BagFuel and others radio shows like Hot 97, mornings with Mero.
