One thing that I have noticed is that many dapps have started pushing alternative to blogging and dynamics to make people increase participation. We are seen that platforms like peakd, ecency, liketu, scrobble, firstcontent, snapie, and others are adding new venues to participate and provide atomized content. Also doing some gamification or loyalty dinamics so that people can keep coming back to the platform.
I have seen this with platforms such as Ecency new Quests feature and Scrobble including streaks and regular set of activities. LikeTu has gone into a different direction with the use of StepJar. The way these platforms are trying to do engage with their userbase is really incredible. I am glad to see that they are taking the initiative into making their platform more attractive and fun.
I do wonder, how hard is to get a better marketing or a unified marketing that the Hive brand can promote. I see a big disconnect between the individual platforms and the Hive as a blockchain. Although I understand that these platform have their own budget at the end of the day, they are all interdependent to succeed. Think about the phone and the social media apps and the carriers. In every airport you used to see the following flyer with logos from popular apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter etc.
Similar things should be pushed in the Hive ecosystem specially form stable platforms that have been in Hive for years, and they depend from it fully. Hopefully between all of these, we could have a secondary marketing budget with a better and more relevant messaging.
I would also try to employ more AI to generate media content to communicate the true value of Hive. Imagine 100 short clips describing multiple aspects from Hive, from it's decentralized nature, to the use of stablecoins that are truly decentralized, to the longevity of your content, being stored on a blockchain.
Hopefully this will make a more and better campaigns for the community. What are your thoughts on a combined budget and improved marketing messaging? You think this will achieve more than before?
