It's a new day and also the start of the new season since the hack yesterday that caused me to lose all my assets. My first daily quest on the road to recovery begins with the Water Splinter. I am unfortunately down to Bronze I thanks to a massive loss of power but I will slowly rebuild my assets and get back in the higher ratings. The recent changes to the rewards in order to prevent bots is going to affect some of us legit players but I will have to push through that as well.
The first Water Splinter game that I played ended with a loss due to my own oversight as well as good counters by the opponent. I was so used to specific cards in my play that I ended up freezing and unable to make the proper play. Well regardless of the lack of cards I am used to, I was finally able to win my five daily games by changing my strategies a bit and making do with just the base ones. It was tough but I survived this day at least. My first reward chest ended up to be just a potion but I will have faith in the other daily chests.
Its day one since the start of the season and I still have 14 days to go so I hope I am able to reach the silver III once I start acquiring some DEC and getting power through rental. Please wish me luck on my new fresh journey through Splinterlands.
