Anyone who uses the adjective rancorous as an adverb and gets away with it attracts my attention! LOL
I also love the sentence at the end of paragraph 4 'Note, I was in pain watching all this.'
I am not a fan of horror but I do tremble with angst when confronted by the wedding in the backyard and everyone behaving as expected.
Bring on the UN expected say I and make a good story.
Your excellent film critique held my attention and sadly, like a good critic should, you did not reveal the outcome. I might even have to find it on Netflix and find out for myself.
