I enjoy your style of writing and strangely enough though from a British background, all roast beef and yorkshire pudding, I loved Afrikaans. It was due largely to my teacher Mej Grove. She was young, dressed beautifully and read 'Jong Doktor Serfontein' that set my blood on fire! So romantic!
I even had an essay in Afrikaans printed in the school magazine.
