I was interested to read that the designers of Barbie toned down her extremely curvaceous figure as it was reckoned by psycholgists to be damaging young girls. They were apparently starving themselves believing that this was the only way a girl or woman could be thought attractive.
I suffered no such delusions as I am a retiree and only played Barbies with my grandchildren in my second childhood.
Oh the clothes! Drool.
