What intrigues me in these wading birds is the S bend in the neck..........gives them a sinuous 'snaky' kind of action. Lovely to escape for a minute or two.

I have to agree that it is a wry sense of humour hanging on the fact that many of our children and teenagers do say and do dreadful things that in hindsight make people laugh. Growing dagga/weed on a garage

I'm with that heron! LOL Occasionally I return the favour and cook 'himself' a platter of bacon, eggs, tomatoes etc. Can't face that too often though......a special treat.
