This is what the first .com boom produced. Originally built by Tom Perkins, the godfather of vc and the namesake of the silicon valley venture capital firm kliener perkins kaufield and byers; at an estimated cost of $500-1billion dollars 🙄.
At 289ft she was the largest private sailboat ever built. Her beauty is unmatched and will never be recreated. Watching this back into a slip in Falmouth harbor Antiqua is something I will never forget.
