I have been a teacher for over 10 years, but only recently began formally homeschooling our kids after Suriname shuttered the educational system. It seems so weird because I've always had schools which were in my home, although not technically a homeschool situation.

I still work as a teacher online, and it's kind of ironic I can't find as much as time as I'd like to participate in the girls' homeschool experience because I'm busy teaching. I have to admit, teaching is not something I want to do after teaching for several hours.

I am learning time management better and better, but you're spot on about mandatory start times, those went out the window a long time ago.
