I've never seen King's Lake except for glimpses of it from the road above. The night I took this photo I parked the truck along the road, and scrambled up the nearest bank. Once I was on top, I found a spot and watched the sun dip below the horizon. I startled up a few grouse, and had a turkey eyeing me curiously. Other than than a few critters, I had this view to myself. I'd do it again.
