Vacation From ...

Steem.

That’s right, I’m taking a vacation and part of that will be taking a break from Steem itself, well at least the way I’ve been doing it.

To set the tone for this post.. here is a messy hair selfie...

Because that is what you will be seeing a lot of this week.. and of course, lovely scenery...

But Justine, I thought you said you were taking a vacation from Steem?

Yes, I am.. and during this time I will be posting daily. Because you see, the way I use Steem is not by posting really. Normally it is more behind the scenes stuff and dealing with aspects that are a bit more time consuming.

I’ve actually said many times during my time here - Man, I wonder what it’s like to just post on Steem, interact and engage with the awesome community and just have fun.

So that is exactly what I will be doing on my Steem vacation.

Things I won’t be doing -

• Admin role in multiple servers.
• Manually curating undiscovered content.
• Answering questions and solving issues in DM.
• Onboarding new users.
• Conflict resolution.
• Brainstorming on how to fix Steem.
• Walking new users through the complicated interface.
• Speaking of forks, hard, soft..or any other.
• Arguing with witnesses.
• Helping to verify new users.
• Fighting abuse.
• Community liaison responsibilities for multiple communities.

Pretty much anything that isn’t posting or commenting and engaging, I won’t be doing for the next week. This is my official vacation from Steem.. normal Steem for me anyways.

So if I am absent or don’t get back to you about something please don’t be upset, I’m literally going to ignore my Steem related DMs for a bit. But I promise I’ll be back to help you later! ❤️

Things I will be doing -

• Posting about my vacation at the lake.
  This will include mostly cellphone photography with make some real photography thrown in if I have time. Also, selfies and whatever else seems fun. 😎
• Commenting on said post.
• Drinking lots of Moscow mules (cause they are my fav).
• Not wearing real clothes.
• Lots of jet ski use.
• Water slides ....

And just having fun 🙂🍹

I’m at the lake for a week, and I thought it would be a perfect time to also take a bit of a break of all the stuff I do on Steem that’s not posting.. but instead just post fun things about my trip!

My goal is simple posts where I don’t stress about editing or producing something extremely high quality, rather just enjoy the platform a bit while also enjoying the lake.

I’ll try to post daily, which is pretty insane for me.. but my current view and love for Moscow’s Mules will hopefully make that easier. I hope you guys won’t mind the change...
