Of course you can. It’s not about not wanting to see the posting, it’s just about not agreeing with the rewards allocated to it. I believe you have many people who have you set on what we call “auto vote” due to the great content you produce. This just means no matter what you post the votes come in. So say in this post, it’s a very high reward for a short announcement.

So I simply was just balancing that out on this post and then look forward to future ones.

You most definitely can use the platform however you want, it’s just part of curation is balancing of rewards, and I simply was using my stake to do so.
