Today, I went hiking up to the top of Joyama mountain in Izu and then round in a big loop, to Yuhi waterfall and back along the road to Ohito, where I had parked my bike. I live in Mishima city now. So its only an hour cycle to Ohito and from there its pretty easy to find the entrance to the hiking course, if you have a hiking map that is. If you don't have a bicycle, its about a 20 minute walk from Ohito station to the start of the course. Going up, the trail separates into two. One for walkers (me), the other for climbers. The mountain is sheer, so there was no way I was going the climbing route. I got to the top in about 40 minutes where you can see a pretty good view. , the other for climbers.
