Technology has taken over the world. A very large percentage of the things we use in our day-to-day activities is as a result of technology. The importance of technology can not be overemphasized. Technology has taken over every aspect of human life. The agricultural sector, political sector, and even the educational sector is not left out.
Although technology has not fully eradicated the traditional method of teaching, in my own view, I feel technology will fully take over the educational sector in the future. Gone are those days when the educational system was difficult. Teachers had to carry loads of textbooks, thanks to the advent of technology we have now found an easy way to do things. We are in the 21st century and the educational system is becoming better year after year, thanks to the impact of technology. Thanks to the technology learning has become easier with the use of smartphones, computers, and other gadgets.
I remember in 2022, when the world was in crisis. The coronavirus pandemic made schools close down. Although schools were closed, the educational sector was slightly affected in some schools, thanks to technology. My sister schools in a private university. Of course, the school closed during the pandemic, but lecture were still going on. Lecturers consulted classes with the use of social media platforms. WhatsApp and Zoom we're used to consult classes and even exams.

Technology today is like a coin. Generally, technology has helped humanity in many ways, but if you're not careful, it'll serve as a distraction. Even though technology has it's disadvantages, the advantages override the disadvantages. If you're not careful, you'll fall on the bad side of technology.
Computers and smartphones are useful gadgets that students utilize to ease learning. However, if they're not careful, they'll get addicted to it and start using it for something else.
HOW IS TECHNOLOGY HELPING ME IN MY EDUCATION
Gadgets like computers and smartphones are students' greatest tools, if they can make good use of them. The internet isn't meant for only movies and games, it is loaded with lots of information that can aid learning.
I'm a university student. Technology has become a part of my life that I use it on a daily basis. As a university student, it is important that you have access to technology. Even if you can't afford one, you should have friends that have access to the internet, or you could visit your school libraries.
Technology has made learning easier for me
Gone are those days when everything was on paper. Books were printed, and students had to buy them and carry them everywhere they went. Thanks to technology, ebooks have come into place and are almost taking over the educational sector.
Technology has eased the stress of carrying lots of books. Why carry 30 books in your backpack when you could just download the pdf and bold your phone. Hundreds of books can be stored on your cell phone which makes it easier. Technology also settles the cost of buying the books. For example; an English student is asked to buy 26 novels for a course. Now calculate the amount he'd use to purchase those books and the stress involved in carrying them. Thanks to technology, that student can just download the books on his phone.
My phone is loaded with PDF’s. I find it easier to read from my phone than to read from books. I take advantage of technology. Instead of wasting my money on books, I go online and download them. However, some people might get distracted by their devices if they're not focused.
ACCESS TO THE INTERNET
As I said earlier, the internet is loaded with lots of information. The Internet works like magic. If you're a smart student, you'd make good use of it. The internet is my best friend when it comes to assignments.
Gone are those days when students had to go to local libraries or buy different textbooks just for assignments. I remember my high school teacher used to tell us (his students) tales of how he'd sneak into the library and spent hours doing assignments.
Technology has been helping me find high school when I started using my smartphone to do my assignments.
The future of education in respect to technology is very bright. More learning amenities will be invented which will in turn facilitate learning process.
