Dalmatia is a beautiful region.
You can't just check in a hotel and go sunbath or swimming in Adriatic sea.
If you do only that, you didn't see Dalmatia at all.
You have to explore the region to feel it in definitely.
Rent a car or go with your own there (if you can) and see the beauty of history, modern life and most of all, see the beauty of nature.
