                                Ode to the Hammer

                                A Sonnet

My pink hammer, you inspire me to write.
I hate the way you paddle, sleep and drool,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the bright ground rule.

Let me compare you to a gay clover?
You are more living, awesome and jolly.
Blessed storms whip the twiglets of October,
And autumntime has the mortal gali.

How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your glad elbows, eyes and ankle.
Thinking of your happy eyes fills my days.
My hate for you is the awsome shankle.

Now I must away with a static heart,
Remember my pleased words whilst we're apart.
