Here is my entry.

This is the Lapu-Lapu Shrine, a 20-meter statue bronze of Lapu-lapu located in the Mactan Shrine Park in Punta Engaño, Mactan Island of Cebu, that commemorates the Battle of Mactan in 1521 between the Spanish armada led by Ferdinand Magellan and the local tribes led by Lapu-lapu who resisted the invasion.

He was considered as the first Filipino Hero because of his resistance to imperial Spanish Colonization. He was the Chief and Warrior of Mactan, a leader who stood and fought for his people.

This spot is one of the tourist destination in Mactan Island.
