These groups of photographers market their work on photography micro stocks such as shutter stock that will help them sell their works ,but at the end of the sells they receive a tiny percentage of the total sale price and most of these platforms have stringent requirements for the sellers.

The photochain platform is basically engineered from the ground to solve the problems of traditional stock photography platform.

With the currently existing stock photography platform,the way to ensure security of transactions is through central control. The photochain platform works autonomously and securely based on predefined rules.
The platform is developing a photochain DApp on the ethereum blockchain. The platform uses computer vision which is also known as learning machine to fulfil some technology requirements of stock photography.
The photochain DApp platform gives the artist the opportunity to sell their work to a broad audience at a price they themselves set. The platform do not have responsibility for illegal behaviours of the sellers.
The artist is responsible for the legality of the works they are selling and can be held fully accoutable for any illegal activity.

As time progresses,more artists will be able to strengthen their copyright using the photochain platform and this is because their works will be limited to their name. This link is manifested as a transaction in the ethereum blockchain and it is visible to all user at all times.
THE PHOTOCHAIN TOKENS
The photochain tokens are used to reward the users across the photochain ecosystem. Any transactions carried out on the platform will require the use of PHOTON tokens.
The number of tokens will be strictly limited by the hard cap. After crowdsale, 21% of the tokens will be reserved for the team ,advislet board ,photochain partners and legals and after no other tokens will be issued.
