From about the years 2004 to 2012, I was heavily immersed in anarchism :)
My music always leans towards the side of individual freedom and decentralization, but this time period in particular sprung forth some great songs made with forever friends!
Along with opening an Infoshop with two friends during this time period, I also started playing rabble rousing folk music under the name Jojo (now uploaded as Junkfeaters). This lead to starting a folk duo called Nora & Gnoll (which was once described as Acousti-violence). Nora & Gnoll then lead to the 6 piece anarcho-bluegrass group Spoke Pants of the Flowering Skillet (guitar, mandolin, banjo, washboard, 6 singers...)
I've recently loaded most of our music to Spotify and had fun today making a playlist full of great tunes. Some of these musicians we've played shows with or had play at our infoshop. Great memories, great times.
Soooo, if anyone out there in Hive/PeakD land has some acoustic gutter anarcho folk on Spotify that might fit this playlist, let me know! I'll add ya!
