And Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile himself with the portion of the king's food, nor with the wine that he drank; He asked, therefore, the head of the eunuchs not to force himself to be contaminated. Daniel 1: 8
Another school year ends, with them many young people finish secondary education and prepare to follow the path of their formation, towards the university.
Regrettably. Many do not know what specialty to follow, but some do not know whether to continue or not, do not have a vision, do not know their purpose for which to fight, have been pushed only by the obligation of society and parents who have demanded their training as custom, more than for his personal fulfillment.
Why did Alexander the Great manage to be the owner of a part of the world before his 30th birthday? Why was Einstein the creator of the theory of relativity? Why did Walter Elias Disney (Walt Disney) achieve his dream? Why are there so many exceptional people?
There is an explanation. Each and every one of them Know their Purpose and persevered by putting their heart in what they were doing. They did not care about the contras, the difficulties or the problems they might have to face, they knew where they wanted to go and nothing was going to stop them until they achieved it. It is difficult for ordinary people to achieve notoriety, fame or power.
That should learn all young, have purpose and persevere in it. Perseverance, Daniel had learned this from GOD, from very early on, and being very young, just a teenager in a contrary society, pressured by the context to do the bad, with bad examples, without the pressure of parental or teacher control , only with his soul, he decides not to contaminate himself.
It was not an impromptu decision, nor the product of the excitement of a camp or a night of consecration. It was a thoughtful and conscious choice, in which I involve his thought, his will and his emotion. He put all his heart in this decision, because he knew for what he had been called and nothing that did not resemble it would separate him from his calling, and for that reason he could sustain it through time.
Daniel had other offerings, some apparently pleasing and perhaps desired in his flesh, but if he turned away from GOD and the vision, he did not take them.
Do you want to persevere in your purpose? Ask Jesus to give you direction, to be your guide, so you will be sure that you will not fail. Propose it in your heart and persevere until the end.
GOD bless you greatly.
