Day by day we must face the temptation to fall into the grip of anxiety, that feeling of vertigo in which everything seems to be summed up in the expressions, - I want it now - already - at this moment - I can not wait any longer.
Now, it is interesting to discover that anxiety does not cause things to accelerate, on the contrary they usually generate physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances, leading inevitably to the loss of the peace we so much need to live in fullness.
In the words of Jesus expressed in those lines we find five principles to overcome anxiety.
1 - Put God first in your life: Find your creator and let him be number one in everything. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you Matthew 6:33.
2 - Have a positive attitude towards life: Value what is most important. Life has more value than everything else. Therefore I say to you: Do not worry about your life, that you will eat or that you will drink; nor for your body that you have to dress. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25.
3 - I trusted that God knows his needs: Our creator is good, merciful and never abandons those who approach him with faith and trust. Because the Gentiles seek all these things; but your heavenly father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:32.
4 - Believe that God will provide what is necessary for his needs: God does not give his life, he will also provide the sustenance so that we can live in peace. Behold the birds of the air, which do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than them? Matthew 6:26. This does not mean that we do not have to work, IT IS NECESSARY TO WORK for our sustenance, but we must stop worrying, Let us work with love and in peace, we will receive welfare and prosperity in our lives.
5 - Avoid speculating with the future: Anxiety leads us to live worrying about what we do not have, when in reality we must worry about living one day at a time, PROJECTING TO US - IT IS TRUE - TOWARDS THE FUTURE, but without allowing anxiety to eat away our peace and our happiness. So do not worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will bring your eagerness. Every day your own evil is enough. Matthew 6:34.
Begin today to apply these practical principles to your life, and you will see how anxiety will give rise to the peace of mind you so much need to live fully.
GOD bless you greatly.
